Freeware Favorites was started in the late 90’s. I’ve always loved freeware and am frequently downloading and trying out free software. Back then I did four in-depth reviews a week partly to hone whatever writing skills I have, partly to try to showcase my web design and partly just because I enjoyed it. There weren’t an abundance of freeware sites back then so it was fairly popular.

As I got busier with web design I discontinued the site. Back then there was no Google Adsense or Amazon Associates available to try to generate some income. Now that work is slower I decided to start the site again. This time I will write shorter reviews but try to include some tips on using the software or add some sort of value added information. I will also use my photography for wallpaper and create some of my own designs using the Gimp. I hope to generate some income from Google Adsense and selling Amazon books so please click on any relevant ads or if you buy from Amazon, please use this site as a gateway.
